Sisters Healing Garden is a Sacred Healing Experience created by Sisters4Sisters, to restore hope. The healing Garden Experience will enlighten, engage and enhance the community with activities dedicated to creative and holistic programs leading to violence prevention and healing from trauma to triumph.
Sisters4Sisters,Inc's Founder and Visionary, Dr. Carolyn White-Washington, created this garden experience more than 15 years ago after partnering with the WNBA and The Office of the Mayor of Washington DC to provide a garden in the courtyard of The Harriet Tubman Shelter for Women. This outreach brought beauty, hope and restoration in the hearts for homeless residents impacted by violence, trauma and transition.
Sisters4Sisters,Inc. along with our DC Ambassadors, Sisters on Deck has began a series of healing garden programs in SE dedicated to bringing peace in the midst of gun violence in Washington, D.C.
Sisters4Sisters,Inc.'s DC Ambassador Frieda Payne has faithfully served women and families in her Washington D.C. community for more than 20 years with creative and innovative programs while Sisters4Sisters,Inc.'s Executive Director, Armetta Candy Allen has dedicated over 19 years as a loyal and committed advocate for women and girls empowerment .

While preparing for the upcoming Sisters Healing Garden God reminded me that this was NOT our first Healing Garden, he reminded me that 15 years ago we created a Garden at The Harriet Tubman Shelter in Washington DC. We received a recognition award from then Mayor Fenty and worked with The WNBA, my late Spiritual Mother Apostle Anne Savannah and a women whose Vision and Heart inspires me Niambi Jarvis.
In 2005 we shared Hope & Healing with the women in The Harriet Tubman Shelter along with monthly healing workshops for over 7 years.
